3 Ways to Protect Your Child Against Diseases

How Can You Protect Your Child Against Diseases?

Nowadays, there are so many kinds of diseases especially among children because they are the most vulnerable in terms of their health.  They still have less resistance against certain germs, bacteria and viruses, although adults are no excuse.

One way to protect your child against disease is to promote healthy and balance diet.

We should continually provide our children with the proper food diet that they need especially as they are growing up.  Lots of liquid intake will also do great.  Let us remember that 75% of our body is water.

We should also give them more of fruits and vegetables and less of those food with high cholesterol.

Second is physical exercise.

Physical exercise is best for children.  These activities can boost their energy and give them higher resistance against certain diseases.  Outdoor games and play can be one activity for physical exercise while at the same time enjoying our bonding moments with our kids.

We can also encourage our children to take a walk in going to school.  This gives them more stamina and at the same time we can have savings from transportation expenses.  What a practical way to protect our children against diseases!

And finally, a healthy lifestyle.

Based on statistics, there are so many Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) that can be acquired because of non-healthy lifestyle such as lack of sleeping hours, substance abuse, eating high fat and high cholesterol food, spending more hours in front of the television (the one we called "stupid box"), and many others.

We can combat this with a healthy lifestyle.  Meaning doing the exact opposite of non-healthy lifestyle.

As the saying goes, "An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure"...It is far more better to spend much on healthy nutrition than having hospital expenses.

Therefore, we should and must do everything we can to protect our children from acquiring or having diseases so that we could enjoy more of our time being with them.  Less worries, more of the joyful moments that we desire.
