The Importance of Child's Early Years

Motherhood is very important in the life of a child.  Winston Churchill said that we should not forget our greatest teacher - our mother.

The early years, which is the formative years of a child is very crucial time to teach and train him or her values that he or she would embrace in his or her entire lifetime.  And a mother plays a great part in molding these young minds of a child.

It is in his or her early life where he or she begins to acquire moral and spiritual values and principles which will give meaning to life.  Apart from that, there is no moral framework, no ultimate accountability - no reason to be honest, to be responsible, to be respectful.

It is important to emphasize that we lead our children, not drive them, towards the kind of person we want them to be.  Living by example is really by far the greatest teaching tool we could use at our disposal.
